The Clinical Operations Specialist will help manage the day-to-day operations and implementation of clinical programs, ensuring the highest quality care to patients. This position includes developing an intimate knowledge of proprietary clinical laboratory systems and working with cross-functional teams to complete routine program testing, address system roadblocks, and document system standards. The Specialist will be expected to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization and will be an integral member of the Clinical Operations & Implementations team.

What You'll Do:

    • Configure platforms according to standard operating procedures.
    • Monitor day-to-day operations of clinical laboratory systems and integrations with other platforms. 
    • Troubleshoot and triage system errors with clinical, product, and engineering teams.
    • Document system standards and maintain updated operating procedures and training materials.
    • Define testing scenarios and conduct end-to-end testing for new program launches. 
    • Create workflows to visualize processes and identify areas of operational improvement.
    • Collaborate with clinical quality team to develop measurement tools for quantifying and reporting impact of improvements

Who You Are:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • At least 2 years of experience in operations-related role; healthcare IT experience preferred.
    • Team-player; proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
    • Inquisitive mentality; strong desire to learn and understand how different platforms and configurations fit together.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Self-motivated; strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Willingness and ability to adapt to using new tools and apps, such as Jira, Slack, and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications required.
    • Previous experience documenting written policies and procedures preferred
