Put your data-analyses skills to work providing insights that impact business decisions and drive revenue! As part of the EVgo Marketing Team, the Marketing Analyst will support digital marketing efforts across multiple channels and initiatives, including working on campaign execution and reporting as well as providing ad-hoc analyses to address a wide variety of business questions. This candidate will build upon existing skills and gain new experience in customer segmentation and predictive modeling, converting analytic findings into customer insights that power marketing strategies and programs. Must be able to prepare and manipulate data from a variety of sources primarily using Excel, Metabase, Google Analytics, and other tools. The Analyst will work collaboratively with the Marketing Team, the Analytics team, and internal and external stakeholders.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Support Paid Search, Display, and Paid Social leads with reporting and campaign management needs, as necessary
    • Lead analysis of investment performance and ability to make recommendations to enhance ROI and drive more revenue
    • Manage campaign set-up and landing page optimization as necessary – from planning and implementation, to partner interactions, creative development & testing, reporting & analysis, etc.
    • Conduct marketing research as needs arise (competition, audience creation, geo-targeting, etc.)
    • Prepare daily actuals and forecasting for Acquisition reporting and closely monitor, measure and report on the acquisition budget and growth
    • Study website behavior patterns to analyze and optimize business results and user experience and deliver key insights from web tracking metrics
    • Synthesize data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to drive customer insights and strategy development
    • Coordinate with external partners and business stakeholders to develop actionable dashboards which present the end to end funnel metrics, contributing to the development of hypotheses and actions
    • Work with stakeholders to develop learning plans with recommendations of analytics approaches, including A/B testing
    • Assist in day-to-day management of marketing initiatives
    • Take ownership on assigned projects and deliver with quality, on time with minimal supervision
    • Maintain great working relationship with other team members and clients

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 2-4 years’ experience in delivery of analytic projects in consulting, in-house, or agency setting
    • Experience with Digital Marketing
    • BS in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or relevant field
    • Proven ability to tell stories with data and instill confidence in recommendations to motivate stakeholders to take action
    • Good understanding of marketing databases, analytics including audience selection/optimization, test design, measurement and models
    • Experience in generating analytic reports
    • Proficient in PowerPoint, and Word
    • Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas) to interpret heavy analytics
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other 3rd party tracking tools, Experience with SQL, experience Google AdWords, Google Webmaster tools and Google Tag Manager a plus
    • Solid understanding of Paid Search, SEO, and other digital marketing channels such as Affiliate, Social, and Display
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, QlikView a plus
    • Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
    • Strong research and analytical mindset
    • Team player with good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, energetic, “can-do” attitude
    • Detail oriented, but still able to see the big picture
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced & fun environment
