In 2023, driven by the urgency of mobilities decarbonation, Expliseat announces a fundraising of $ 19 million to accelerate the deployment of its technology through:
- Industrial acceleration with the opening of a new smart manufacturing facility of 6,000 m2 in Angers built according to the latest environmental standards (DPE A)
- Commercial acceleration with the opening of new markets (railway, electric ground mobility, eVTOL, etc.)
- Technical acceleration to increase our leadership in sustainable, high-performance and technologically disruptive seats

To achieve all of this, Expliseat is hiring! 

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join our commercial aviation department.
As a Senior Sales Manager, your main role is to develop sales with airlines in our target markets. You intervene from the identification of the lead, you lead commercial discussions and product presentations until the negotiations and the contract signature.
You also share your experience with other team members.

1. Be the pilot of our leads by guiding them until the contract signature

    • Manage the sales cycle, from identifying needs to negotiating terms and signing contracts ;
    • Propose sales and negotiation strategies to reach the signature ;
    • Identify decision-makers, and develop a network around our commercial targets ;
    • Rely on our network of international representatives to accelerate sales ;
    • Manage 5 active leads in parallel and sign 10 contracts per year.

2. Generate new leads and ensure a growing commercial pipeline

    • You monitor the market and work closely with our SDR manager to maintain a growing sales pipeline ;
    • You are proactive in carrying out actions to identify new prospects and promote sales ;
    • You participate in professional events to accelerate your ongoing negotiations and identify new clients.

3. Contribute to the commercial expansion of Expliseat

    • You build long term relationships with your customers to build loyalty and ensure their satisfaction and the influence of our solutions in their territories ;
    • You collect the needs of your customers and network to prepare future sales campaigns and new product developments.

4. Become a sales manager for one of our sectors

    • Be able, after 12 months, to take charge of the commercial activity of one of our sectors: regional aviation or short-haul aviation ;
    • Lead a team and cooperate with different departments to achieve business objectives ;
    • Propose and lead commercial strategies to increase our market share in your sector.

Profile & Skills : You are able to demonstrate most or all of the skills listed below:

    • Business graduate ;
    • 15 years in aeronautics, including 10 years in the sale of equipment to airlines and ideally aircraft seats ;
    • Strong experience of business development ;
    • You know how to lead commercial negotiations until the signature ;
    • You know how to manage large accounts and develop your network ;
    • You are persistent, rigorous and autonomous ;
    • You are proactive ;
    • Language skills: Perfect written and spoken English.  Knowledge of French is a plus.
