Senior Product Manager, SD-WAN Solution Architect 
 
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, collaborative, enthusiastic and innovative Senior Product Manager to join the Solution Architect team. In this role, you will become the Product Team’s hands-on technical expert for our SD-WAN solutions, rapidly gaining know-howof our SD-WAN portfolio, then proactively sharing that knowledge with the field, support organization, and documentation teams. You will provide valuable ideas and feedback to product management to further refine and improve the products and integration with the rest of our product portfolio. 
 
 As part of the Solution Architects, you will join a team of fellow hands-on product experts that are determined to be the first adopter for every new product and feature produced for the Extreme portfolio of cloud-managed products, with aim toshare the expertise gained from that process with internal stakeholders - to drive better documentation, training, and marketing efforts. We also provide a technical bridge between the field and the product organizationto understand, filter, and refine feedback, issues and feature requests that come from our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Become the lead technical expert on Extreme Networks SD-WAN offerings, providing an advocacy and advisory role between the technical field personnel and product management. 
    • Align with product management to proactively deploy, test, and document new SD-WAN scenarios and features before release.  
    • Build and maintain demo testbeds to support this new feature testingand deliver demonstrations to internal stakeholders. 
    •  Develop in-depth understanding of Extreme Networks enterprise cloud networking portfolio and provide insight where more in depth correlation and visibility is needed between different product portfolios. 
    • Deliver video and webinar-based product demonstrations, written deployment guidance and solutions,answer technical questions and develop and maintain competitive analysis of Extreme SD-WAN solutions to help product management to better define and develop our differentiation. 

Your Background Should Include:

    • Over 5 years of experience as Product Manager, Sales Engineer, or Technical Marketing Engineer. 

    • Detailed understanding and experience with SD-WAN, IP routing, Ethernet Switching, and cloud networking. Experience with Ethernet Switching, Wi-Fi, or API scripting a plus.

    • A strong understanding of user experience with expertise to engage in the discussions and weigh in when the team needs inputs to evaluate trade-offs   

    • The ability to focus on the technical underpinnings of a product, with the ability to zoom out to comprehend the user experience and how customers will consume the product translate technology features into customer experience      

    • A strong analytical skillset to influence product strategy and product roadmaps through knowledge of the product, the competitive landscape, and customer needs 

    • Experience enabling or engaging with enterprise sales teams, channel partners and Customers   

    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote role with distributed teams  

    • Experience includes cross collaboration across teams to deliver products and services  

    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, ability to communicate to an executive audience
