Job Description:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a Wireless Security Software with Network Management System and/or Element Management System ( NMS/EMS). Responsibilities include the design and development of new features and maintenance of existing functionality of the Security product, specifically in the client/UI component of the security software. Design and implement new features in the Java-based server component. Enhance the application to make cloud-ready deployment with the existing functionality. Work with backend server engineers to ensure the user interface/APIs to top-of-class. Work with the QA team to help ensure a high-quality product.
Requirements:
· 5+ years' total development experience: Device Management, Configuration Management, and Fault Management of Network equipment.
· Development experience with several of the following: C/C++, Client/server in Java, XML, Web services (RESTful/SOAP), JavaScript, SNMPv3 agents and clients, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, LDAP).
· Expertise in OO-based software design, integration, and troubleshooting.
· Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.) or M.S in Computer science/application
Preferences:
· Minimum 2 years experience in the design and development of Network Management Systems or Element Management Systems (NMS/EMS).
· Expertise in developing, monitoring, and/or troubleshooting large-scale wired/wireless networks.
· Expertise in Database design, modeling, and Performance Tuning
