Extreme Cloud IQ (XIQ) platform was built from the ground up as a modern distributed system to manage a large number of network devices around the world. We are looking for a Staff QA Software Engineer to help drive automation in several critical projects to test new XIQ features end-to-end and work with the development team to resolve bugs.
Successful candidate is required to have a solid learning attitude in the cloud domain with a general understanding of networking and be a responsible individual who is willing to absorb information and be able to execute on tasks.
Responsibilities include:
· Work with the various functional groups to develop and execute scalability regression test suites
· Work with developers to create white-box automation test scripts
· Leverage reference scripts and advocate best practices
· Innovate quality engineering processes and tools
Required Qualifications:5+ years of professional experience in implementing, executing, and debugging automation scripts
· 5+ years of professional experience implementing, executing, and debugging automation scripts. Scripting around scalability testing, preferably.
· Experience working within a wide variety of automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, Javascript, and other open-source projects
· Experience with DevOps, CICD, Jenkins, and GIT
· Proven ability to learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance
· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
