POSITION: Sr Software Engineer

EXPERIENCE: 4+ to 8 years

LOCATION: BANGALORE

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to design and develop management infrastructure software for Switching and Routing products with a 4-8+ years track record of relevant work experience.

Skill required:

Roles & Responsibilities

•Design and develop Management Infrastructure software solutions for Switching and Routing products

•Analyze technical feasibility of requirements and deliver release features

•Write detailed Design specs, conduct design reviews, code, unit-test in Agile development environment

•Participate in strategic and tactical product initiatives

•Quickly troubleshoot customer escalations and provide solutions on time

•Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, implementation, unit-testing, and maintenance

Qualifications:

•Education qualification must include BE/BTech in Computer Science or related areas

•Overall, 5-8 years of software development experience

•Proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, C, C++ or similar

•Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate and resolve complex technical issues

•Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design

•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, git and agile methodologies

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred skills:

•Experience in GoLang programming language

•Knowledge of YANG, OpenConfig, RPCs, GNMI

•Work experience in Databases (Redis, Postgres) , Message bus (NATS, RabbitMQ, etc)

•Good understanding of microservice architecture

•Experience using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence
