Responsibilities:
- You'll be a critical member of our performance marketing team, working cross-functionally to build out successful events and programs that drive pipeline and accelerate funnel.
- You'll work closely with sales and channel leadership to understand the needs of each region and of our target customers, developing creative strategies to engage them at a range of events and experiences.
- Interlock with regional field sales leaders to ensure ongoing alignment of priorities, accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, pipeline reviews and regional quarterly business reviews.
- Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs – e.g. promotion agencies, demand marketing agencies, teleservices agencies, designers, copywriters and translation agencies, and channel marketing concierge agencies.
- Manage and develop a team of field marketing managers with the potential to grow the team over time.
- Budget Management: Plan, allocate, and oversee the field marketing budget to ensure maximum return on investment, tracking spend against the projected pipeline and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Create a culture of change management that uses data driven decisions. Utilize historical data and career benchmarks to make projections and set goals for your strategy
- Work in alignment with our channel partners, using market development funds, to create and execute route to market tactics that create top of funnel opportunities.
Experience and Skills Required
- 10+ years of field marketing or equivalent marketing experience in B2B technology
- Experience running all event details and communicating ROI
- A history of organizing and leading cross-functional project teams toward a common goal
- Experience managing teams and helping direct reports develop in their careers
- Great project management skills
- A well-rounded background with a variety of event types, including large-scale industry gatherings and exclusive, executive gatherings.
- Experience building and interpreting reports to make data-driven decisions driving ROI
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in marketing or business
- MBA in marketing or related area strongly preferred
