Extropic is hiring an Analog / Mixed-Signal Layout Engineer to help accelerate our hardware development.

The ideal candidate would be someone with a deep understanding of Analog / Mixed signal layout design. Need to have experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design of deep sub-micron circuits.

Skills that are relevant to the job are:

-Experience in implementing analog layouts to achieve tight matching, optimizing for low parasitics
 -Experience in custom/standard cell based floor-planning and hierarchical layout design
-Good understanding of layout issues related to IR drop, RC delay, electro-migration and coupling parasitics
-Experience with interpreting output from DRC, LVS, ERC etc tools to be able to complete layout in a timely manner
-Experience in implementing layouts with FinFETs
-Experience with using CADENCE layout and verification (DRC,LVS etc.) tools
-Experience with chip level routing
-Experience with taping out chips to the foundry
 -Understanding critical aspects of various circuits to implement optimized layouts
-Understanding ESD / Latch up rules
-Scripting skills are greatly desired, but not required

$120,000 - $300,000 a year
Salary and equity compensation vary wildly with experience level. Substantial equity available for highly skilled and motivated individuals.
