The Marketing Associate will be an integral part of the success of Exygy’s marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for the execution of Exygy’s growth strategy in partnership and led by the Growth Manager. Their primary responsibilities will be the creation and publication of content on Exygy’s platforms focused on the CiviForm and Consulting business lines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None. 

Content Marketing - 80%

    • Develop, draft, and schedule blogs, social media posts, and interviews. Collaborate with the Growth Manager to finalize and publish content.
    • Support C-suite social media presence by organizing, scheduling, and ghostwriting content.
    • Drive social media engagement by crafting engaging posts, following trends, creating reports, and executing strategy for LinkedIn.
    • Plan and co-write the bi-monthly community newsletter.
    • Develop case studies and thought leadership pieces across various formats (blogs, social media, interviews, etc.).
    • Ensure clean and accurate lead data entry in HubSpot.
    • Create and send targeted email campaigns focused on CiviForm and Consulting services for lead generation.
    • Manage CMS updates for CiviForm and Consulting on Exygy.com.

Community Building - 20%

    • Research "tech for good" communities and integrate their best practices into Exygy's content schedule, engagement strategies, and community-building efforts.
    • Engage weekly with the community and fellow "tech for gooders" through LinkedIn, Slack groups, and in-person events (when possible).
    • Support Account Managers and Business Development by fostering relationships through community engagement.
    • Build Exygy's brand awareness by actively contributing to Slack groups like the Digital Service Coalition and Good Tech Fest and exploring participation in other relevant communities.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • Working knowledge of CRMs (bonus points for HubSpot experience)
    • Familiarity with low/no-code website builders (Webflow, Framer, Squarespace) is a plus
    • General understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, UTMs, social media metrics, and email marketing success KPIs
    • Proficiency with project management tools like Notion
    • General knowledge of social impact work, agency life, and the tech industry
    • Basic design skills and comfort using Canva (proficiency in Adobe Suite a plus)
    • Strong understanding of social media copywriting, long-form content creation, content calendar management, content scheduling, and email marketing best practices
    • Excellent teamwork skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing contexts
    • Effective communication skills with a focus on asynchronous communication

Metrics for success in this role

    • Consistent bi-monthly newsletter publication
    • Three LinkedIn content posts per week
    • Twelve blog posts published per year
    • Quarterly case study development (based on availability)
    • Increased engagement with partner organizations on LinkedIn 
    • Ownership over content calendar planning and execution 
    • Keen understanding of Exygy’s brand guidelines and tone of voice
$65,000 - $74,750 a year

Compensation

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $74,750.
