Your next career:
The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in our organization by supporting the sales team, partnerships and customers through their technical and domain expertise. This role requires a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices and solid experience within the ecosystem of technologies that power end-to-end online shopping experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities and experience in working directly with senior level customer contacts on both the business and technical sides of an organization as this role involves significant hands-on collaboration with customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sales in helping devise value-based solutions for prospective customers.
- Be a subject matter expert for all elements of the fabric platform and how they integrate with the commerce ecosystem for both technical and business audiences
- Maintaining a solid understanding of the fabric product strategy, offerings, and sales pipeline to identify opportunities where our services can bring business value to our customers
- End-to-end ownership of discovery process during sales cyclesTranslation of customer requirements to internal stakeholders in product & engineering
- Define, document and present solution recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders
- Configure and deliver custom demos and proofs of concept (POCs) in support of sales opportunities
- End-to-end ownership of technical responses to RFP/RFQ/RFIs and collaborate with sales, product and engineering team on overall response
- Intake of customer feedback in order to communicate with product & engineering teams for potential roadmap initiatives
- Support the product marketing and partnership teams
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience (eCommerce or Order Management) and can drive a complex technical sales process
- A blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking and problem solving in order to drive successful outcomes
- Successful record of working collaboratively with both clients and internal teams to define and delivery solutions
- Excels at customer engagement - eliciting needs and conveying solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Track record of contributing and developing technical sales assets (demos, POCs, architecture readouts)
- Self-sufficient with a strong desire to learn and grow within the team and company
- Expertise in working with REST APIs and and related tools like Postman
- Experience in a technical consulting role focusing on eCommerce and Order Management platform transformations is a plus
Salary range for this role is below in USD:
$150,000 - $200,000 a year
