Head of Product

Fabric​ ​Genomics​ ​is looking for an outstanding individual to take on a leadership role in conceiving and bringing new products to market. The successful candidate will have significant experience in successfully launching and managing life sciences SaaS products through the product life cycle.     • Lead and manage product strategy, planning and launch of new products
    • Define market requirements through market research, competitive analysis, and customer development
    • Articulate value proposition, product offering, market segmentation and positioning strategy
    • Work closely with R&D and customer success teams to build product roadmap and feature requirements ensuring that the voice of the customer is considered
    • Analyze, manage, iterate and track the continued success of features in production
    • Partner with marketing team, define product messaging / positioning, and develop and implement successful marketing plans and sales enablement programs
    • Collaborate with cross functional team members on key opinion leader recruitment and management to ensure successful adoption and evolution of products
    • Actively manage lifecycle of existing products including product improvements and expansions
    • Develop and mature pricing strategies
    • Recruit and manage other product managers in the organization and establish best product management practices 
    • As required, represent company and products with customers and at industry events


    • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus
    • 7+ years of product management experience including 2+ years of software product management required
    • Track record of successful product launches and leading product management organizations, ideally with an agile development process
    • Deep understanding of the genomics and diagnostics industry and products, reimbursement and regulatory strategies and business models 
    • Experience with diagnostics, in the CLIA or FDA regulated environment preferred
    • Experience developing SaaS products using the agile software development methodology strongly preferred
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to build and present a strong business case
    • Driven to question assumptions and validate hypotheses
    • Highly motivated and results-driven. Obsesses over getting the details right but knows how to ship on time
    • Evidence of successfully coaching other product managers
