Facta exists because accounting professionals are tragically under served by existing financial software. Hours to days of accountant time is wasted every month in spreadsheets, manually processing transactions that their general ledger system can't handle. Together we can empower accounting and finance professionals to be more productive and impactful in their organizations.

Facta is looking for a marketing intern to join our team and support our content marketing and social media efforts.  We are a SaaS-based fintech startup headquartered in San Francisco with an office in Lehi, UT (Salt Lake City).   Our founders bring 50+ years of experience from leading SaaS, fintech and venture capital companies in Silicon Valley and Silicon Slopes. We are looking for a marketing intern to support the continued growth of our industry presence and B2B software sales by collaborating with our CEO, head of sales, and advisors to execute on a number of growth strategies.

You will be given the opportunity to take ownership of a number of projects that will expose you to some of the most innovative marketing practices going on in the tech industry. Specific initiatives include Webinar and podcast production, online content marketing, LinkedIn advertising, and strategic partnerships.

This role is an internship suitable for a skilled student or recent graduate with 2+ years of school under their belt. 

Responsibilities:
Work  directly  with  our  CEO and other executives  to  envision  our  strategy,  create  a  detailed marketing plan, and lead the day-to-day execution of each element of the process, ranging from booking interviews/guests, to coordinating production, and promoting content online.

Planning, production and distribution of video, podcast and blog content that will be distributed via our Website, social media and  SEO. 

Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties including video, podcasts, blog posts, events and more.

Develop a new branded podcast including choosing and coordinating guest speakers, managing publishing schedule, and production

Work cross-functionally with demand generation and product marketing to drive marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content

Manage all creative resources including designers, writers, and additional supporting contractors; delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met

Manage  SEO initiatives including content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement

Collaborate  with  product  marketers,  sales  professionals,  external  influencers  and  industry  experts  to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience

Monitor, track, and document content results; analyze data to determine impact on revenue

Preferred Qualifications
3rd or 4th Year student in a Marketing/Communications Bachelor’s Degree program

Prior experience and coursework in content marketing, podcasts and written content

Experience/familiarity with social marketing platform tools and strategies, especially LinkedIn

Experience/familiarity with SEO marketing strategies and tactics
