Our Graduate Program is designed to be a continuous learning journey that is the perfect start to your career in law. We offer extensive training, exposure to stimulating projects, and the opportunity to work within an industry-leading team consisting of over 500 lawyers, contract experts, technologists, and process consultants. Factor’s global graduate program operates from Factor’s hubs in Belfast, and Wroclaw and we are looking for graduates to join our teams dedicated to supporting our household name clients across various industries including financial services, investment banking, life sciences and telecommunications. Within our teams, you’ll develop new skills whilst working alongside some of the industry’s top minds and build a valuable network that will support you as you progress in your career.

How does it work?

The Graduate Program starts with a three week period, commencing in September each year, during which you will work through a comprehensive, tailored training and Factor onboarding program with your fellow graduates across each of Factor’s hubs as well as having an opportunity to get fully immersed into life at Factor.
After successfully completing your training, you will transition into our talent pool and be placed within our client engagements as a Contract Analyst. Here you will be able to gain invaluable hands-on experience and add some leading brands to your CV. We provide you with ongoing support and guidance throughout journey as a Factorian.

You will be assigned to multiple client engagements to utilise and enhance these skills all whilst gaining exposure to Factor’s tech-enabled environment. What will you be doing:

    • The Graduate Program will offer a series of training, including professional skills training, soft skills training and Factor onboarding;
    • Each graduate will be matched to a seasoned Factor “buddy” to support them in their journey at Factor;
    • During the first week of the program the graduates will be introduced to key stakeholders within the business as well as partaking in team building activities with the wider business;
    • The aim of the first three weeks is to introduce graduates to some of our legal technology, attend Learning and Development training sessions and have them do two “mini rotations” in two different projects, including various case studies;
    • Graduates will attend further training sessions and are onboarded onto an engagement where they will remain until the end of their Graduate Program.

Who is eligible to apply:

    • We accept applications from any law degree discipline but to apply for our Graduate Program you must either be in the final year of your studies or have graduated within the last 12 months

    • If you meet the criteria, one our recruiters will reach to conduct a phone screening interview, to assess the match for joining Factor’s Graduate Scheme.

    • This assessment have been specially designed to allow you to demonstrate your potential for the program.

    • This is your opportunity to share your strengths and motivations with senior business members. It is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the program and the business

Additional Information
As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Center of Excellence and globally at Factor. As a member of the Factor team, the applicant will have access to various company and client assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset.
