Our Territory Sales Managers create and build long-term partnerships with commercial auto insurance brokers in their region, driving sales and delivering exciting new business. We are excited to be able to hire a Texas-based Territory Sales Manager to help us expand in the region and develop a solid foothold using your knowledge, relationships and expertise.

We are looking for a hungry, motivated, and talented insurance professional who loves technology, analytics, and offering solutions that positively impact our consumers. You'll be willing to open the hood and use data to bring business insight to our dynamic product offering.

While this is listed as "hybrid" we do not have a physical office anywhere in the US. This role will be based in your region/territory, from home. We do expect up to 40% travel required and we would ideally like you to be based in Dallas, Houston or Austin which is why it is marked as hybrid. What do our Territory Sales Managers do?

    • Develop and manage a business plan and a quote pipeline to drive profitable premium growth
    • Travel around their region visiting brokers to develop long-term trusted partnerships
    • Build, own, and nurture deep and trusting relationships with broker partners
    • Actively listen to broker and fleet feedback on what to keep doing or improve upon and relay to the business to inform strategic decision-making
    • Act as a subject-matter expert on market pricing, industry trends, and competitor service offerings
    • Work cross-functionally and develop strong internal working relationships
    • Mentor team members, support their professional growth, and nurture their curiosity
    • Exemplify and foster Fairmatic’s humble, collaborative, and impact-obsessed culture
    • Reach agreed-upon premium goals and targets

What your background will (most likely) look like

    • 3+ Years experience managing insurance company relationships with brokers
    • Willingness to travel up to 40% around Texas with some national (and possibly international) travel for company events
    • Knowledge of commercial lines auto insurance
    • Ability to think in unconventional ways with a healthy scepticism of the status quo
    • You’re a confident and humble owner of your work and have a “can do” attitude
    • You enjoy not just finding a problem but creating a solution
    • Shared vision of the future insurance to be fair and transparent
