We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Casino Performance & Strategy to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves working closely with the VP of Casino to set the overall strategy and vision for our casino operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in long-term planning, goal setting, and ensuring alignment of the casino & performance with our broader business objectives. This role demands a strategic focus, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the online gaming industry.

Responsibilities

    • Strategic Focus: Collaborate with the VP of Casino to develop and implement the casino’s strategic plan.
    • Responsible for long-term planning and goal setting, ensuring that the casino & performance aligns with the broader business objectives.
    • Drive prioritization of commercial team needs into the Product & Marketing organization.
    • Revenue Performance: Establish, report, and review the OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) of the casino business. Ensure these objectives contribute to the aggressive revenue performance targets we set. Constantly identify and explore new opportunities for growth and development within the Fanatics business, the existing player base and externally with partners.
    • Budget Ownership: Manage significant budgetary responsibilities, including decisions related to freebet and loyalty programs (such as FanCash Earning), spend distribution among player segments (including VIP), and balancing budgets across various customer engagement strategies.
    • Casino Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the Head of Casino Performance and the wider commercial team. Drive focus on the casino business through relevant teams, ensuring effective understanding and execution of our strategy across the whole of the Fanatics business.

Skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Online Gaming, preferably in a commercial or operational role.
    • Experience of running a high performing Casino Commercial, Operational or Marketing function. Track record of successful achievements should be apparent.
    • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to understand and interpret data to drive business decisions.
    • Ability to report complex data and analysis in a succinct and clear manner to senior members of the org.
