COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this role is $105,000 per year - $150,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

In addition to the base, bonus, and equity, full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, paid time off and other benefits like GymPass, Pet Insurance, Family Care Benefits, Free Shipt deliveries, and more. We’ll also give you $500 to set up your home office!

ABOUT OUR DIGITAL SPORTS BETTING TEAM (TRADING)

If so, the Fanatics Betting & Gaming Digital Sports Betting team may be the perfect match for you!The Digital Sports Betting Team at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) oversees all aspects of trading, line setting, and odds making.  With millions of possible instances and outcomes across all sports, our Digital Sports Betting Team determines what pregame and in-game situations our customers can bet on including lines,  props, parlays, pick-ems, and much more.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Digital Sports Betting Manager at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will assist in building a world class SportsBook Trading team while balancing the traditional trading responsibilities with evolving start-up tasks as we prepare to fully operationalize and launch over the coming months. Reporting into one of the Senior Directors, you will play an integral role in the extended Betting Experience management team, as well as the wider FBG team.

Responsibilities

    • Managing Traders and Associate Traders
    • Recruitment of Traders and Associate Traders when necessary
    • Creating a culture that allows your colleagues to thrive both individually and as a team 
    • Coaching and developing less experienced members of the team
    • Ensuring that all members of the team have development plans and receive regular feedback against those plans
    • Manage scheduling and coordinate shift times for the Basketball Trading team
    • Working with the Directors and Senior Traders to create a world-class betting proposition for our customers
    • Reporting on the performance of the Trading teams and analyzing the value of new additions to the betting proposition
    • Contribute to continuous improvement across the Trading department
    • Assisting other teams within the Trading department where necessary

Skills and Experience

    • Familiarity with probability as it relates to sports and sports betting
    • Experience and ability to work with spreadsheets and data sets creatively to solve problems
    • Must have at least 3-years of experience in Sports Betting
    • Must have at least 1-year of experience managing people
    • A real passion for Sports, and an inherent understanding of what Sports fans want in order to be entertained
    • Skilled in getting the best out of people in an always-on, dynamic workplace
    • Preference to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions are made quickly
    • Team-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and effectively work cross-functionally across different teams at FBG and the larger Fanatics organization
    • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to simplify all facets of Trading to senior leadership
    • Flexible work schedule will be required, including some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
    • This role is based out of the US or Canada
