The base salary range for this role is $150,000 per year - $200,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming and an equity award.  

*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country of residence

As a VIP Strategy & Operations Senior Manager at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of key strategies to enhance the overall product, promotion, and customer experience for our high-value customers. Reporting into the Operations Team, you will still play an integral role in the wider Fanatics Betting & Gaming team. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategy and operations team member who is a natural problem solver and has a strong bias towards action. They have a strong background in both strategic planning and operational execution within the online gaming or sports betting industry, able to bring thoughtful, effective ideas and solutions to a rapidly growing organization contributing at a hands-on level. They have a proven track record of digging in and defining what needs to be done while deftly managing a variety of stakeholder relationships. 

Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the VIP product, promotion, and entertainment offerings, with a focus on the online sportsbook.
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth and differentiation.
    • Utilize insights to inform strategic decision making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Trading, Product, Customer Service, Finance, to align strategies and develop robust operational processes that create strong ownership & accountability.
    • Enhance the overall customer experience by analyzing customer feedback, monitoring customer satisfaction metrics, and implementing improvements.
    • Partner with Marketing and Loyalty teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and experiences that resonate with high-value customers, driving customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
    • Partner with Analytics to track KPIs, measure impact, and make informed decisions that continue to optimize and improve our VIP offering.

Skills and Qualifications

    • 5-7+ experience in a Consulting, Strategy, or Operational function in the sportbook industry .
    • Proven experience in a strategy and operations management role within the online gaming, sports betting, or related industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes to hit KPI targets.
    • A passion for Sports and an inherent understanding of what Sports fans want in order to be entertained.
    • Passion to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions are made quickly
    • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
