We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Editor to review a wide variety of pre-production text, data and art files for trading card and sticker collections. The successful application will work across multiple brands within our professional Sports and Entertainment licenses, collaborating with global prepress, editorial, brand, design and licensing teams. This position interfaces with internal functions in a fast-paced environment to review pre-production art files and ensure the visual quality and accuracy of all our products is maintained. The right candidate needs to be well-versed with multi-tasking and handling a multitude of projects independently. The role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a proficiency in sports terminology and awareness of licensor standards.

Responsibilities

    • Proofread raw text and data for accuracy grammar, spelling, house style and licensor requirements.
    • Review composed files for integrity, design consistency, image quality, text formatting, technical set-up and printing plate registration.
    • Examine intermediate stages of proofs to ensure that requested revisions (by Quality Assurance, Editorial staff, Designers or Licensors) have been accurately applied.
    • Check imposition layouts of large format card and sticker sheets
    • Perform final review of bluelines for errors and omissions and checking against subject lists to ensure proper alignment before production.
    • Inspect packaging art files, to ensure accuracy of information presented to consumer, based on internal content documents, legal guidelines, and Bills of Materials.

Qualifications:

    • Outstanding attention to textual and graphic detail and ability to incorporate extensive licensor style guides.
    • •Mastery of English grammar and data accuracy
    • Flexibility to work with variable styles and requirements of assorted licensors including UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga, Formula 1, & Entertainment Brands
    • Multi-tasking capability to manage assignments across several projects and maintain priorities within a steady daily workflow.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, web browser-based interfaces, and Macintosh OS.
