The Maintenance Technician Level 1 is critical to the smooth operation of our Fulfillment Center. The Tech 1 will be required to perform basic Troubleshooting, Repairs and Preventive Maintenance of our Facility Assets, Material Handling Systems and Conveyance Systems with the support of Senior Technicians and Leadership. The Maintenance Technician 1 must take responsibility for the safety, quality and timely execution of these support services which include, but not limited to: Material Handling Equipment, Conveyors, Forklifts, Electrical, Plumbing, Grounds and General Maintenance.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Repairs and other written or computer-based documents assigned from Leadership.
Ability to learn and utilize software to include CMMS Systems, Graphical Interfaces and other applicable programs.
Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
Works closely with other Technicians to ensure proper operation of Facility related equipment through means of Mechanical/Electrical trouble-shooting.
Performs Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on Conveyor equipment, Grounds, Building Equipment and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).
Ability to work at heights from ladders and aerial lifts.
Ability to work on the exterior of the Fulfillment Center and within a non-climate controlled environment.
Ability to complete additional task and request as needed from the sites Leadership Team.

This position does require standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time, continuous use of hands, twisting, bending and stooping to perform task. Duties also include being able to lift up to 50lbs.
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 year of related experience/education in Material Handling Equipment, Mechanical Troubleshooting, Maintenance and /or Installation is required
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting
Basic Electrical Troubleshooting
Basic Controls Troubleshooting
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work flexible hours
