Responsible for establishing a global strategy for the complex Jersey business, which optimizes the Fanatics Global Source Base while achieving industry leading quality, on-time delivery, and fair market costs in a sustainable and compliant business environment. Provide leadership, direction and management of the Jersey Sourcing Team and related responsibilities, to achieve strategic and financial targets of the Fanatics Brands organization. This person must be able to operate efficiently at a macro/strategic level, work seamlessly with internal cross functional teammates, and develop and sustain strategic partnerships with external Suppliers.


    • Establish the seasonal global strategy for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NCAA Jerseys, in alignment with the current Source Base capabilities, production and development capacity, and quality.
    • Build a 3 – 5 year strategy in accordance with long-term growth plans, analyzing and sourcing additional suppliers and capacity to support this. 
    • Work cross functionally with Planning on strategy and capacity planning by league, program and service levels.
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize strategic partnerships at both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels.
    • Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, Product Development on seasonal assortments and special programs and events; Lead the process of identifying new capabilities and innovation requirements by season.
    • Communicate daily with the regional PCC’s (Product Creation Centers ), working globally on the source base strategy, seasonal allocation, cost negotiations and capacity planning and management. 
    • Continually review and assess vendor performance cross functionally with Product Development, Product Integrity, and Sourcing Operations Teams, ensuring that Fanatics Brands requirements are met regarding quality, price, delivery, and compliance.
    • Manage the Jersey Team on all responsibilities for the delivery of quality product and margin to support the Fanatics Brands / licensed sporting product in sustainable and compliant facilities.
    • Participate in the vendor onboarding process to ensure Fanatics Brands standards are met.
    • Collaborate with the Sourcing Operations Team and Product Integrity on the vendor manuals and manufacturing agreements inclusive of annual maintenance and updates as required by the business.
    • Recruit, coach, develop and supervise an industry best sourcing team.
    • Work on special projects as assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
    • 15+ years relevant experience in sourcing, development, and production in licensed sporting goods, specifically in Jerseys is a plus
    • Strong working experience with global trade in textiles and apparel sourcing processes
    • Technical background with knowledge in material and garment construction
    • Experience working with vendors in Asia and South/Central America
    • Intimately familiar with industry standard quality processes/procedures and compliance regulations.
    • Ability to introduce and implement new processes and procedures
    • Ability to communicate across multiple cultural and experience levels, internal & external
    • Proven leadership skills and communication skills are a must
    • Strong Computer skills in excel, word and necessary systems needed
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing, and flexible environment
    • Travel Required
