Topps Europe Ltd is a part of The Topps Company, Inc founded in 1938 and part of the Fanatics Group. Topps Europe is a market leader in physical and digital sports cards, entertainment cards and collectibles. Topps Europe creates and distributes leading sports and entertainment products including UEFA Champions League, Euro 2024, Bundesliga, Formula 1, Star Wars, and other trading cards, sticker album collections and collectibles. 

The Finance function is a vital link within the organization, responsible for strategic financial planning and analysis, measuring performance and reporting. Each staff member in the Group plays a vital role in the company-wide accomplishment. 
The successful candidate will need to work closely with all departments within Topps and Fanatics. They will need to create strong working relationships with our colleagues in the sales, brand, and production teams as a central focus to collate all the information necessary to plan and deliver the financials accurately. 


    • Sales managers partnering for month end close assisting with the following key items: 
    • Returns provision 
    • Inventory / Inventory provision 
    • Debtors 
    • Marketing / Promotion Spend 
    • Sales vs Forecast 
    • Review postings to General Ledger and correct where necessary 
    • PO approvals 
    • Sales credits for closed International Collections 
    • Balance Sheet reconciliations 
    • Cover for inventory Transactions 
    • Assist Finance Planning & Analysis team with forecasting 
    • Help with Group reporting requirements 
    • Help with process mapping 
    • Ad hoc projects 

Skills and Experience

    • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) 
    • Previous Management Accounting experience, specifically with experience with month end, year-end, and management reporting 
    • Experience working in a multi-site, international business is desirable 
    • Prior success working effectively within a fast paced, deadline driven environment 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to regularly communicate across the team and business 
    • Unrelenting attention to detail 
    • Proficiency in Excel is required, experience with Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial
