The base salary range for this role is $167,000 per year - $275,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

As the Director of Product - Free to Play for Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you
will build and scale Free to Play offering products across iOS, Android, and web
platforms. The Director of Product will hire and guide a team of best-in-class
product managers focused on creating unique and differentiated experiences for
customers. This role will be within the FTP, Content and Cross Sell team; it will be
vital in helping us define and execute our aspirations on both top of the funnel
and & retention; products.

Responsibilities

    • Define, own and be accountable to the rest of the business and Senior Leadership for KPIs related to product and business objectives.Build and spearhead a team of product managers, and create career advancement opportunities for FBD colleagues.
    • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Data, and UI/UX teams to design and implement a best-in-class, intuitive, and scalable product from the ground up - driven by data, user research, and competitive analysis.
    • Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing the features that create customer-first experiences and drive our primary KPIs.
    • Work cross-functionally across the Fanatics ecosystem to best utilize and incorporate Fanatics strategic assets into the FBG product.
    • Understand how the Product and team can support other areas of the business

Experience and Skills

    • 7+ years of progressive experience as a Leader within the Product space, preferably in a B2C digital native app-focused product organization.
    • A myopic focus on the Customer, their needs and how we can create compelling propositions.
    • Experience in creating ‘top of the funnel’ experiences, understanding the wider Sports media landscape. 
    • Inclination to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper-growth environment where choices are made quickly.
    • Team-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and effectively work cross-functionally across different teams at FBG and the larger Fanatics organization.
    • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex problems into product outcomes and value propositions to the rest of the business and Senior Leadership.
    • Experience in scaling and managing product teams and owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to execution and deployment.
    • Ability to collect and leverage customer data, user research, and competitive analysis at scale to inform resolutions and the product roadmap[Preferred]
    • Passion for sports, gaming, and entertainment products that drives empathetic and thoughtful product decisions affecting customers[Preferred]
    • Experience building entertainment products for sports fans and/or gaming consumers or a deep understanding of real-money gaming products and the Sports Betting and Online Casino Industry
