As a market leader with more than 18,000 employees, and hundreds of partners, suppliers, and vendors worldwide, we take responsibility for driving toward more ethical and sustainable practices. We are committed to building an inclusive Fanatics community, reflecting and representing society at every level of the business, including our employees, vendors, partners and fans. Fanatics is also dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities where we all live, work, and play through strategic philanthropic initiatives.

We have an incredibly exciting role on our high-growth collectibles team for an Executive Business Operations Associate who will be the right hand to our Chief Strategy Officer (“CSO”) based in Atlanta.  Under the guidance of the CSO and their existing COS, you will help drive strategic initiatives to help shape the future of Fanatics Collectibles and the Trading Card Industry, while owning the CSO’s calendar, travel planning, and expense management.

As Executive Business Operations Associate, you will get a seat at the table alongside our CSO, including daily interaction with our world-class C-Suite to forecast, analyze and operationalize high-priority projects that include product, design, technology, operations, marketing, and sales. A clear team-first mindset, ability to navigate difficult situations, and a deep knowledge and love of sports/collecting are required to make you a good fit.

This role will require you to travel approximately 75% of the time, (be flexible for last-minute travel), and enjoy working in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Dallas.  Preference for candidates in Atlanta, but consideration will be given for those in LA, NYC or Dallas as well.  This will be a 2-year rotational role, with the requirement to find and train your replacement, and then optimally move into an elevated role that fits your interests within the broader Fanatics Collectibles business.

Within the first 6 months, you will:

    • Dedicate your time (approximately) to 40% Administrative and 60% Strategic tasks while serving as an ambitious, problem-solving extension of our CSO.
    • Coordinate and schedule a high volume of internal/external meetings that optimize the CSO’s time.  The calendar is ever-changing so you must be an expert at juggling appointments while ensuring key initiatives are prioritized.
    • Book efficient travel plans for the CSO (and yourself to accompany them) that provide regular in-person team collaboration syncs.  Craft detailed itineraries including air, hotel, car, and breakfast/lunch/dinner plans as needed. This is a high-travel role that includes monthly visits to LA, NYC, and Dallas.
    • Facilitate the CSO’s ability to effectively lead their business initiatives by researching, structuring, and drafting clear and concise meeting agendas and decks that provide top-of-funnel strategy as well as implementation/execution details.
    • Serve as a tactical and operational partner to the CSO, helping lead cross-functional strategic initiatives through; building/running work-cadence, standing in on meetings (when needed), and following up on key action items accordingly.
    • Track high-priority initiatives, present progress updates, and deliver recommendations to the Collectibles CSO and other key leaders.
    • Work together with the broader Biz Ops team to triage all incoming requests and actively prioritize potential initiatives on the roadmap.

The Ideal Candidate:

    • 0-2 years of work experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Investment Banking, Finance / Accounting, Private Equity or Biz Ops / Strategy focused work or studies
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or similar preferred
    • Located in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Los Angeles, NYC or Dallas. High preference for Atlanta based candidates.
    • Strong quantitative modeling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen, strong organizational skills, exceedingly flexible, able to continually re-prioritize in fast-paced environment and provide a high level of discretion.
    • Team-first management mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems collaboratively with colleagues.
    • Strong passion for and deep knowledge of the sports and collectibles industry with an overall understanding of industry dynamics and value drivers
    • Interest / Openness to joining a fast-paced, rapid-growth team in a rotational role where you will be groomed to take on a greater role with our team in approximately 2 years.
