Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties and operators in the world, we are integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

We are seeking an IT Governance and Controls Lead to implement ITGCs, IT policies, standards and procedures for the Collectibles line of business. This individual will independently create the IT policies, standards, procedures; implement tools, KPIs and metrics to monitor ITGC compliance; communicate policies and procedures and provide training to the IT organization. The IT Governance and Controls Lead will partner and collaborate with Information Security, Software Engineering, ERP Technology, Infrastructure and SOX Compliance teams and must be able to effectively lead discussions and reach consensus across these teams. Ultimately this role will ensure that Collectibles IT achieves SOX Compliance.

Responsibilities

    • Define, implement and execute IT processes and controls to meet industry best practices and SOX control requirements
    • In depth understanding of SOX control requirements with the ability to independently define and document IT policies, standards and procedures
    • Set up JIRA Service Management and ServiceNow flows to support and enforce ITGCs and policies
    • Lead and chair the IT Change Management, Risk Management and Incident Management
    • Review Boards and other necessary forums to comply with ITGCs
    • Adapt to the needs of the organization and implement policies and procedures that are attainable by a lean organization
    • Define and implement IT KPIs and metrics, reports and dashboards for consumption by all levels of the organization
    • Train and guide software, application and infrastructure engineers on control requirements and procedures
    • Independently monitor and test IT controls
    • Produce effective communications and train the IT organization on policies and procedures
    • Produce clear and concise SOX ITGC status reports for C level audiences
    • Independently meet and interface with SOX Compliance and bridge communication with the IT organization

Basic Qualifications

    • 5 – 10 years of experience in an IT Risk, Internal Controls, Audit or Compliance role
    • Experience defining and implementing SOX ITGCs for a pre-IPO company
    • Experience documenting and maintaining IT policies, standards and procedures
    • Hands on experience configuring JIRA Service Management to support ITGCs and IT policies and procedures
    • Experience defining and implementing IT KPIs and metrics; Experience tracking and defining KPI reports and dashboards for consumption by all levels of the organization
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships and trust
    • Team player with an ownership mindset that is willing to get involved, go above and beyond and assist IT engineers to achieve control requirements
    • Flexible and comfortable with change, with the ability to quickly pivot based on the needs of the organization
    • Ability to work well with software, application and infrastructure engineers in order to train and guide them on control requirements and procedures
