Calling all sports fans! Fanatics, Inc. is seeking energetic Operation Production Associates to work with our manufacturing team in Jacksonville, FL. Operation Production Associates will be tasked with operating manufacturing equipment to produce garments for Fans.
Example shift structure: Two (4) days of ten (10) hour shifts
Example: Sun - Wed or Wed - Sat from 6:30 pm to 5:00 am
Hourly Pay Rate: $14.00
Seasonal Fanatics Associates are entitled to benefits such as approved time off; and company discounts, during the terms of employment. Conversion opportunities for Full Time positions may be available based on business need.
•Operate Digital Press Equipment
•Keep Work-in-Progress Thoroughly Organized and Produce Goods Using Minimal Waste
•Maintain a Highly Productive Schedule and Keep Up with Fan Demands
•Work Independently as well as with a Team
•Maintain Strong Communication with Prepress Team
•Occasionally Produce and Prepare Digital Prepress Artwork Files to be “Print Ready”
•Maintain a Daily Schedule of Printed Orders According to the Production Schedule
•Work Along Prepress Team to Strive for 100% Quality of All Orders
•Monitor All Processes on Press to Ensure Effective Quality Control Throughout Run
•Maintain Inventory of All Necessary Press Supplies
•Ensures the Inventory is Maintained at Acceptable Levels
•Perform Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshoot Press Issues
•Keep a Clean and Presentable Workstation
•Reports to Supervisor to Resolve Issues as They Arise
•Communicates Directly with Technicians to Resolve Mechanical or Hardware Issues
•Must be Able to Lift Approximately 25 lbs.
•Must be Able to Perform Physical Duties of Position such as Assisting in Moving Product from Printing to Packaging Departments
•Demonstrates Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
•Able to Operate Computerized Scanning Equipment and PC Based Inventory Control Programs
•Ability to Stand 8 to 10 Hours per Day
•May be Expected to Walk Up to 10 miles per day
•Able to Understand and Follow Verbal and Written Instructions with Minimal Supervision
Other preferences will include:
•A Minimum of 2+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment
•Knowledge in the Printing and Label Manufacturing Industry, Strongly Preferred
•Working Knowledge and Experience of Adobe Creative Suites and Digital File-to-Print Processes
•Prior Experience in a Traditional Offset or Web Press Environment
•A Working Knowledge of Print, Design, and Color Management
•Able to Perform Basic Math Including Fractions and Decimals
•Strong Computer Skills and Willingness to Learn New Software
•Mechanical Aptitude and the Ability to Produce Rapidly, A Must
•Motivated and Highly Productive with a Sense for Overall Effectiveness in a Manufacturing Environment
