THE ROLE
New Guards Group is looking for a Junior Collection Merchandiser to join the Merchandising department. In this role you will support the Senior Collection Merchandiser Manager in overseeing the business by analysing data across the collections to identify market opportunities for the brand Palm Angels

WHAT YOU WILL DO

      Support in collection development.
·       Defines, together with Senior Collection & Merchandising Manager seasonal collection briefings across all categories with competitive research on trends, benchmark brands, pricing, key items and opportunities.
·       Prepare and implement the brand “merchandising grid”, which will define the offer structure of each collection/category in terms of breadth, depth and positioning – this to align with production needs and margin optimization.
·       Participation in the organization of the sales campaigns and production of all supporting materials and buying tools (B2B, control of product styles codes, update of KPIs, photos and samples, catalogs, and advertising, exit lists etc.)
·       Development of training manuals with detailed product information on each collection for regional buyers
·       Development of post sales campaign reports (such as: sell in by region/country and worldwide - by line, function, best sellers, etc.)

Pricing
·       Work closely with Product Development teams on target pricing and costing phases to ensure alignment of industrial, wholesale and retail margins.
·       Prepare, oversee, manage in collaboration with Senior Collection & Merchandising Manager all pricing files.


WHO YOU ARE
·       1 years of relevant experience as merchandising assistant or buying assistant preferably in the fashion/luxury goods industry
·       Strong sense of style and understanding of high-end luxury products
·       Educational background preferably in business management or similar
·       Strong Product Knowledge on Bags & Formal Shoes/Sneakers, previous experience a plus
·       Strong analytical skills and mindset, Excel and Power Point everyday use
·       Personal drive and result oriented. Proactivity in proposing new solutions and exit comfort zone to support the team in many different activities.
