OFFICE
Our new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all the NGG staff functions. Turati is where
the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonised with the archive
exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office.

THE ROLE
As a Demand/Supply Planner, you will have full, end-to-end planning and purchasing responsibility for
a category or product line. You will collaborate on forecasts with Merchandising and Sales teams,
plan the supply and secure it through timely purchase orders. Your efforts will enable go-to-market
plans, successful sell-through at retail and optimize inventory throughout the season. You will have a
major impact on our ability to deliver in full and on time, reporting and tracking Supplier and Inbound
performances. In this role you’ll bring a rich background in planning and analysis, and develop a
thorough understanding of the business, the product and the marketplace. Moreover, you’ll bring a
process improvement mindset and a natural curiosity to explore and solve problems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Drive forecast accuracy (Inbound/Outbound) through a thorough analysis of historic and current data, as well as a fluent collaboration with Production, Merchandising, Sales and the Digital team.
    • Become an expert in MS Dynamics 365 and develop accurate regional supply plans.
    • Submit forecasts and orders to the global sourcing and supply planning team, and ensure that purchase orders are accepted and executed in full.
    • Track and trace purchase orders, expediting them as necessary against delivery goals, and hand them off to the Logistics team for inbound shipping.
    • Monitor demand and supply throughout the order deadlines, PO delivery and the shipping season, solve gaps and issues, and adjust plans accordingly.
    • Build great working relationships with counterparts in Product, Sales, Digital, Finance, Customer Ops and Logistics to deliver on our promise to customers. Analyse and improve internal processes and involve IT to create fast and efficient solutions.
    • Support your manager on projects and requests of the larger Operations team.

WHO ARE YOU

    • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning & Analytics, at international consumer goods companies. A background in the sporting goods or fashion industry is preferred.
    • You demonstrate a strong conceptual understanding of supply chain business models.
    • You are data driven and analytical, with a keen eye for detail, and skilled in logical reasoning.
    • You have a keen ability to explain complex processes and issues in simple terms, to identify the key trade-offs in situations, and to gain support for your recommendations.
    • You have proven experience with ERP tools (preferable MS Dynamics 365), MRP solutions, and MS Office. Experience with BI/reporting and/or data visualization tools is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal English communication skills are a must, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence across various levels within the organization.
    • You have a positive attitude, abundant energy, and like taking initiative and responsibility.
