Our new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office.
THE ROLE
NGG is currently looking for a Customs & Trade Compliance Intern who will support the team to manage, collect and analyze all data and documents for the Products and Customs Data System. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all product specifics and all customs related documents are collected, updated and tracked. You will report to the Customs Trade & Compliance Manager and you will be based in our HQ in Milan.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist in import/export operations;
- Ensure proper use and updates data & documentations of the products and customs data system;
- Reviewing document and shipment holds for customs and compliance requirements;
- Rendering Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications;
- Auditing customs and shipping documents;
- Reconciliation of customs documents;
- Assist with special projects or assignments, as requested.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor Degree;
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office particularly Excel;
- Previous intern experience, better if in compliance or logistics area;
- Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken;
- Good communication skills;
- Accurate and precise with attention to detail;
- Highly organized, flexible with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Positive attitude and team player.
