R&D

THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will pair with a team of product managers, designers and engineers to help us build the API and Integrations for the Publishing Efficiency business area: this area is the core of our Resale Operations and Acquisition, playing a pivotal role in our Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Be a technical reference: reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible to spearhead the backend developments for the area and foster good development and collaboration practices within the team.
    • Have e2e ownership: own the definition, planning, execution, delivery and monitoring of every task in a production environment.
    • Be a team-player: you understand the power of collaboration and are capable of exercising mentoring of less experienced peers.
    • Be product-driven: pair with product managers to work on product development discovery, refinements, estimates and prioritisation.
    • Engage on our architecture modernization: besides the evolution of our new product stack, you’ll work with the migration of some legacy services written in PHP + MySQL.
    • Work with some of the following technologies: C#, Azure, SQL Server, MySQL, Service Bus.

WHO YOU ARE

    • A backend developer with at least 5 of experience in creating web APIs in C# and .NET and deploying them to Azure.
    • An enthusiast who grasps some trending frontend technologies, such as React, Vite and Typescript.
    • Have previously a product-oriented environment.
    • Includes automated tests as the baseline of every feature you deliver and know how to fit them in a CI/CD pipeline.
    • Are familiar with Microsoft Azure and some of its PaaS offerings, such as App Services, Managed Databases and Monitor.
    • Knows how to work with relational databases and their schema evolution.
    • Understands the caveats of event-driven architectures and the systems in it.
    • Have previously worked with different time zones and understand the autonomy standards required for asynchronous communication.
