THE ROLE
The Interim Senior Operations Specialist - Business Development is a key figure in the relationships we have with our current and incoming boutiques and brands partners. The Business Development team builds and nurtures relationships with luxury boutiques & brands in Fashion, Jewellery & Watches, Kids, Homeware, Eyewear, Vintage selling via the different channels that the Farfetch Platform offers.
You will be responsible for managing and improving key operational, administrative and contractual processes when contracting with new partners. You will also assist the global BD team in managing our contractual relationship with existing ones whilst strengthening our partnerships database and act as the BD representative across multiple cross functional projects all aimed at improving the way we partner with the best boutique and brands in the world.
We are looking for someone who can ideally start beginning of December 2025, in a fixed term contract role up to 12 months.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Your role will be split across 3 axes : legal, administrative and team coordination.
- Legal- Draft contract and manage new contract versions.
- Track and action contract renewals, terminations and help in the management of contractual relationships with internal teams (Finance, Partner Service/Success).
- Provide team support on various company projects with a strong contractual and operational lens.
- Work with the Legal, Internal Control and Audit teams.
- Sales Operations: Keep accurate records of the worldwide database of contracts liaising with the wider BD team (EMEAR, USA, Australia, APAC, Japan) and improve it when necessary
- Prepare and communicate regular business updates on global new signings, renewals, terminations and status of our current network of boutiques via visual illustrations and quarterly reports,
- Manage new boutiques’ set-up documentation coordinating the data with various internal teams
- Audit and SOX controls: work with the Business Development team management and the Audit team to ensure processes are compliant with defined internal controls.
- Pipeline management, launch of enablement of self serve, ownership of DAC7 and INFORM act compliance tasks
- Team Coordination and Project Management- Monitor contracts’ status (new and existing) for the EMEAR BD team + APAC.
- Act as the main point of contact and project manager on projects between the BD team and in office teams (marketing, design, content, legal…)
- Work with BDs to understand their requirements, identify and highlight opportunities for improvements of processes
- Distribute new retail partners requests and manage the leads database.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience in a contract management or admin related position in a luxury or high-end fashion apparel or accessories company, designer wholesale or showroom
- Experience leading on workstreams on large projects
- Familiarity with contracts and contract management
- Excellent organisation, communication, with a strong attention to details
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides with strong presentation skills
- Understanding of the luxury fashion market and the way brands and multiband stores operate
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
- Able to work in a fixed term contract role, starting ideally beginning of December 2025 for up to 12 months.
