THE ROLE

The Finance Business Partner will be the lead to support our Commercial & Operations Senior leaders, being key advisors on the P&L and working closely with their teams to deliver on the strategic and financial goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Led the financial planning and analysis of revenues and costs, working closely with the business functions and FP&A teams to deliver budget and monthly forecasts in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensuring Commercial and Operations monthly actuals and forecast submissions are appropriately reviewed and challenged, leaving no stone unturned when analyzing monthly performance drivers (vs last year & forecast), as well as helping to drive accuracy in forecast submission
    • Support Commercial & Operations stakeholders with timely KPI reporting, and monthly dashboard updates, proactively bringing meaningful analysis and approaches whenever necessary
    • Own profitability reporting and perform ongoing analysis to drive new thinking and support key decision-making, developing skills in our main data systems
    • Produce insightful analysis to help support business cases, as well as being the point of contact to review and challenge assumptions where necessary
    • Ensure the quality of the data produced, working closely with the accountancy team to ensure all applicable revenue/costs are booked in the right place and promptly
    • Set up and monitor monthly accrual processes across Operations & Commercial lines, facilitating communication between Financial Operations and the business
    • Help to continuously improve financial processes, utilizing strong Excel and analytical skills to find efficiencies and create robust solutions

WHO YOU ARE

    • A qualified accountant or finalist (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
    • Industry experience is preferable (but not essential)
    • Good commercial acumen; able to connect business priorities to financial goals to drive value and performance
    • Advanced Excel skills with AX and SAP knowledge advantageous
    • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure delivery of the most critical tasks within appropriate timelines
    • Ability to demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and a proactive, can-do attitude working in a fast-paced environment
    • A team player with good communication skills, who can build relationships to assist in managing deliverables.
