Fast is seeking a talented corporate communications professional to run our global public relations efforts outside of the United States.  


This is a new position, providing a driven communications professional the ability to create from the ground up a global PR function. Reporting into the CCO, the Comms Manager will have an opportunity to build the program that raises awareness for Fast throughout the world, enhancing our corporate reputation and driving demand for our products outside of the US among key constituents, such as merchants, consumers, prospective employees, industry thought leaders and policymakers. 

The world is your oyster, and the successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects across different countries flawlessly and constantly be looking for new opportunities to tell the Fast story.  

Responsibilities include:

-Running best-in-class communications programs, creating and executing strategy to generate proactive media coverage globally
-Possessing journalist-quality writing skills to create news releases, fact sheets, talking points, speeches, op-eds, blog posts, and executive briefing documents
-Working directly with senior executives and being comfortable with telling them when they are wrong
-Giving media interviews in all mediums
-Helping manage public relations agencies
-Managing complex programs and eventsInitiating and owning editorial calendar with long lead times

-A head-of-the-class media relations strategistComfortable working with tight deadlines, often concurrent, for disparate projects
-A strong listener with a curious mind who can learn about new subjects and translate them into compelling stories for a broad audience
-An exceptional project manager and have the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyA self-starter who approaches everything with drive, urgency, and energyExcited to solve hard problems in creative waysSkilled at thinking on your feet and are comfortable in a constantly changing work environmentDeeply savvy with social media platforms used outside of the US


-5+ years of experience in global corporate communications, with extensive experience managing programs outside of the US, particularly in Australia
-Superb writing and editing skills
-Bonus points if you are a Cubs fan and / or can also write perfectly in another language
