**Job Description:**
Pines Village Continuing Care Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Speech Therapist to join our esteemed team. As a leader in senior care, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will provide individualized speech therapy services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of our residents, promoting their communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Educate residents and families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
**Qualifications:**
Bacheloirs Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current NJ state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
