Welcome to Fi.

We’re a passionate team from Square, Google, Peloton, Uber, and more working to transform the dog-human relationship. Our mission? Develop cutting-edge technology to revolutionize what it means to be a dog parent. The dog industry remains firmly stuck in the past and we are here to change that. Fi is leveraging our team's talent and expertise to improve the lives of the millions of dogs in the U.S. Real-time location tracking, activity, sleep and behavior monitoring – and that's just the beginning.

The most exciting aspect of our work? Bridging the communication gap between dogs and humans. Imagine a world where everyone knows how their dog feels in real time and how to keep their best friend in good shape. That's the future we're building at Fi.

If you're someone who thrives in innovative, collaborative work environments and feels strongly about helping dogs live longer, better lives, Fi could be the perfect fit. Join us in our pursuit of the “impossible,” or as we call it here “let me find a way,” to redefine the future of dog ownership together.

Fi is looking for a Midweight Designer!

We’re looking for a Midweight Designer with outstanding conceptual and systems-based design capabilities, as well as strong animation skills to join our creative team. This is a hybrid role that spans brand, product, and marketing: one day you’ll be animating a launch video, the next you’ll be adapting campaign assets for paid, social, or email. You’ll help keep Fi’s day-to-day design needs moving while also shaping motion work that makes our brand feel alive.

This role is for an experienced designer who’s equally comfortable with production precision and creative concepts and exploration—someone who can think big, present convincingly, execute cleanly, move fast, and still find moments to push the work further.

What You’ll Do:

    • Design: Creating holistic brand systems, shaping campaigns, brand communications, and digital experiences.
    • Motion and Animation: Supplement ongoing design work with sharp motion graphics that can really make our overall design sing.
    • Support campaigns: Bring concepts to life across video, social, web, email, and paid channels.
    • Handle day-to-day requests: Field marketing and lifecycle design needs, delivering production-ready assets on time and on brand.
    • Adapt & extend creative: Resize, reformat, and iterate on existing assets while maintaining brand consistency.
    • Strengthen the system: Help refine Fi’s motion and design guidelines to ensure a cohesive identity across channels.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with designers, copywriters, and marketing leads to deliver polished, effective work

What You’ll Bring:

    • 3–5 years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows both static and motion work.
    • Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, and design tools like Figma/Adobe CC.
    • Experience creating short-form content for digital, social, and paid campaigns.
    • A strong eye for typography, layout, and detail—you can move fast without sacrificing quality.
    • Comfort balancing production-heavy tasks with more conceptual, creative projects.
    • A collaborative, adaptable mindset—you’re reliable with execution but also able to contribute ideas.

Why You'll Love Us:

    • Time to Recharge: Enjoy flexible PTO to take the breaks you need.
    • Top-Notch Health Coverage: We’ve got your back (and teeth and eyes) with full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
    • Wellness Perks: Free access to One Medical, Kindbody, and Talkspace to keep you feeling your best.
    • Give Back to the Pups: Make tails wag with a $500 annual donation to a dog charity of your choice through our BarkBack Program.
    • Free Fi Membership: Your furry best friend(s) get all the benefits of a Fi collar, on us!
    • Love for Friends + Family: Share the Fi magic with loved ones through our gifting program.
