Job Summary 
As the Business Analyst you are a natural problem solver with a passion for understanding data and delivering actionable insights and impact for our clients. You have a strong understanding of agriculture and able to effectively create narratives and storytelling leveraging data. You will be driven by curiosity to understand our product capabilities to drive hypotheses, analyses, and recommendations for our clients.

This position will be a cross-functional role supporting the revenue department (Account Management, Marketing, and Sales) as well as working on ad-hoc projects with the Product Development team.

Essential Functions

    • Identify insights, spot patterns, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to clients and/or support teams to facilitate data-driven decision making
    • Provide actionable insights to our internal team and influence user experience design strategy
    • Produce data sets and reports for analysis using analytics and reporting tools
    • Identify key metrics and build data dashboards to track progress 
    • Make data visually appealing and simple to effectively present to internal and stakeholders and clients
    • Work with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc analytics projects
    • Work closely with Marketing to provide customer case studies
    • Research, design, implement, and evaluate scalable approaches to deliver product analytics

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • 3+ years work experience is required
    • Familiarity with the agriculture industry is required
    • Strong data analytics and statistical knowledge is required
    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required
    • Experience with BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) to analyze data and develop reports is preferred
    • Python and R software knowledge is preferred
    • Ability to get things done fast and to work without continual guidance
    • Experience with customer service or customer operations analytics
    • Ability to tailor insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Excellent organization skills and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
    • Attention to detail combined and creative/outside-the-box thinking
    • Excellent documentation, writing, organization and verbal communication skills
