The Insurance Claims Associate will be part of our growing Customer Support Escalation team as we work to build long term, consistent processes and policies for General Liability and OAI claims handling. By working closely with another other internal Insurance Claims Associate & Sr. Claims Analyst, this position will enable us to maintain high level customer satisfaction while we continue to grow and evolve within this department and across Field Nation. The longer-term goal of this role will be to completely handle all types of claims from start to finish and master all aspects of our COI program.
This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. This position is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and reports to the Sr. Claims Analyst in Minneapolis, MN.
What you’ll do:
- Investigate and process general liability, third party property damage & bodily injury claims reported by our marketplace users.
- Learn how to handle OAI claims.
- Interview claimant/witnesses to gather pertinent information submitted inside and outside the work order while keeping detailed notes and records.
- Add case/claim data to ensure accurate department reporting both within Service Cloud and spreadsheets.
- Complete investigation with all involved parties and build a folder to present to our Sr. Claims Analyst for review and payment approval.
- Learn Provider COI vetting & how to process Buyer site specific COI WO requests.
- Maintain claims watchlist to help reduce future claim risk within the marketplace.
- Help maintain and assist buyers with annual COI renewal mailings.
- Read through previous claims to understand our process and ask questions accordingly.
- Assist in preparing claims for our insurance companies as needed.
- Update our internal insurance processes/documentation as needed.
- Coordinate with other internal departments/staff members as needed.
- During slow times, this person may be asked to assist Support/Resolution with other non-insurance tasks as needed.
What you’ll need:
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills both externally to our users and internally with FN staff.
- Experience within the Insurance industry specifically handling and investigating claims.
- Ability to effectively investigate/document/organize findings in detail.
- Customer service background or any related customer-focused role.
- Ability to stay patient and calm while delivering accurate results during high stress situations.
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
- Desire to learn insurance terminology and grow within the department.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, exempt position with typical business hours Monday-Friday (8 pm - 5 am)
Job Location
- Uttara, Dhaka.
Salary Range
- BDT 45,000 - 55,000
