About the Role of Marketing Designer

The Marketing Designer will be someone who is very creative, understands the customer and can bring the brand to life digitally. This person will have a large impact on the design of our e-commerce store (Helping customers understand FightCamp visually while increasing the conversion rate) and will be leading the design on the following marketing initiatives: social media ads, social media organic posts, email campaigns, blog content.

The Marketing Designer will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and they will work together to ideate A/B tests on the website, flesh out new marketing campaign designs and take the FightCamp design to the next level on every existing marketing asset (Emails, blog, social media, brochures, etc). They will also be working closely with our Lead UI/UX Designer to get onboarded onto our company's brand and design infrastructure and will have check in’s with this individual to make sure all the design knowledge within the company is continuously shared and improved upon.

The Marketing Designer will have access to all the photos and videos that our content team regularly produces and will work with the content team to request and scope photo shoots or video shoots needed for marketing projects.

They will be the design lead on FightCamp’s marketing projects, including the website, online ads, email creative, social content and blog content. 

What You Will Do

    • Leading the design on FightCamp’s marketing projects, which include the following: website, online ads, email creative, social content and blog content
    • Understanding the FightCamp customer and the buying journey in order to design better web pages and ads (UI/UX)
    • Working with the web team to implement your website designs
    • Keeping project collaborators informed of design timelines and statuses throughout the process
    • Collaborating with the marketing team to shape the visual aspects of the marketing strategy
    • Work with our Lead UI/UX designer to build and maintain design systems and asset libraries
    • Understanding and maintaining the FightCamp visual brand across all of our marketing channels / projects

Qualifications

    • Portfolio of previous projects and designs (to be submitted with Resume)
    • High level proficiency with the adobe design suite, sketch, or other design tools
    • Experience designing responsive e-commerce websites / landing pages that convert
    • Experience designing marketing content such as social creative (ads or organic), email creative, blog creative, etc
    • Experience researching customer behavior and using this information to inform better designs
    • Excellent cross-functional project management skills
    • Ability to take initiative and deliver in fast-paced environments

Good To Have

    • 3+ years Design experience for a Direct To Consumer Brand or Ecommerce store
    • Experience using marketing / website analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Heap, HotJar, etc
    • Experience running A/B tests on designs to evaluate overall conversion rate increases
    • Experience running A/B tests on designs to evaluate overall conversion rate increases
    • Background in boxing for fitness or as a sport
    • Strong Interest in the technologies that will shape how people workout
