We seek a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as the Business Development Director for the Crypto Investing segment of our media company. As a rapidly growing player in the industry, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in strategic thinking, sales & BD leadership, and a deep understanding of the sector. By joining our company, you will be responsible for leading and expanding our sales teams and business development efforts within the Crypto segment, driving and diversifying revenue, the overall ROI of your department and establishing strong relationships with key partners, while reporting directly to our CRO.

Responsibilities

    • Management – Create, manage, and set targets for your teams within the Crypto Investing department. Foster a culture of achievement, innovation, and operational excellence.
    • Strategy  Research, identify, and pursue business opportunities, including penetration of new markets, creation of new advertising products and placements, optimizing existing strategies, entering into strategic partnerships, and more. 
    • Key Relationships – Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
    • Data Analysis & Insights – Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to Management.
    • Collaboration – Provide insights and strategic recommendations to the CRO and Management team, contributing to the overall strategic planning of the company. Work closely with other departments to align strategy and execution with the business targets.
    • Expertise – Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
    • Advocate – Ensure that the company's products and processes align with the best interests of your department and the company, advocating for necessary enhancements or adjustments.
    • Ambassador – Represent the company at industry events & conferences, enhancing the company's profile and visibility in the Crypto sector.

Requirements

    • Industry Expertise – Deep understanding of the Investing and Crypto sectors, including various markets, industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
    • Management Experience – 5+ years of experience in a BD or sales leadership role managing teams within the Investing or Crypto space, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
    • Leadership Skills – Strong leadership and team management skills and experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be Bold – Don’t be afraid to challenge and take calculated risks.
    • Strategic Thinking – Have a strategic mindset, considering inter-departmental challenges to develop and execute effective sales operations.
    • Ethics – Possess strong ethics in sales strategies, ensuring that tactics drive effective results while upholding the highest standards of integrity.
    • Communication Skills – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
    • Industry Network – Strong network in the Crypto industry.
