We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our company as Chief Product Officer, providing strategic vision and overseeing its execution. As a rapidly growing player in the online media and performance marketing landscape, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in strategic leadership and full-stack Product development know-how. By joining our company, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our Product, Engineering, and UX/Design departments and for driving operational efficiency, technological efficiency and innovation while optimizing the P&Ls of the departments falling under the product division. This is a key role that reports directly to our CEO.

Responsibilities

    • Cross-Departmental Leadership – Provide leadership and guidance to the Product (internal and consumer-facing), Engineering, and UX/Design departments, fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive work environment. Ensure teams are highly motivated and equipped with the resources needed to succeed.
    • Drive Operational and Technological Excellence—Drive operational and technological efficiency within the product division to improve the time to market and sustainability of our deployments from all standpoints (performance, UX, SEO, etc.) and optimize our P&Ls.
    • Strategic Planning & Leadership – Develop and implement a cohesive product strategy and a set of KPIs that align with the company’s overall business goals. Lead the product vision and roadmap, ensuring innovative solutions that meet market demands and support the company’s growth objectives.
    • Stay ahead of the Curve—Stay up-to-date with the latest product and technological trends, tools, and best practices. This includes attending conferences and networking with other professionals to exchange knowledge and insights.
    • Innovate and Experiment—Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to maintain competitive advantage. Regularly assess market competition and shifts to adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

    • Experience within a large online publishing company with successful content marketing operations across multiple properties
    • Product Development Expertise – 360 degree knowledge in all areas of product development practices, trends, data, tools and technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, loading performance, UX and SEO best practices.
    • Management & Leadership Experience—Minimum of 8 years experience in a Product leadership role. Proven track record of leading, developing, and expanding teams of product development professionals, with the ability to orchestrate numerous projects simultaneously and successfully.
    • Online Publishing Experience—Product leadership experience related to online publishing and digital media is a must. Product experience in affiliate marketing is a plus.
    • Communication – Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering teamwork and collaboration across departments while maintaining a positive dynamic culture.
    • Operational Excellence – Proven track record in optimizing workflows for scalability and setting up efficient quality control processes.
    • Strategic Thinking—Proven track record in developing and implementing successful product development strategies, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and set clear, measurable targets. Innovation-driven—Willingness to experiment with new product development technologies and strategies.
    • Financial Acumen – Experience managing P&Ls and using financial metrics to guide business decisions.
    • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills – Highly analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills, capable of using data to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
    • Industry Network – Having a strong network within the Product development industry is a plus.
