We’re changing the way people connect to social care.
At findhelp, we’ve built a comprehensive platform of products and services that make it easy for you to connect people to resources, follow them on their journey, and track your impact in a fast and reliable way. Our industry-leading social care network includes more than half a million local, state, and national programs that serve every ZIP Code in the country, from rural areas to major metropolitan centers.
Findhelp is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has been enabling healthcare, government, education, and other organizations to connect people with the social care resources that serve them, with privacy and security, since 2010.
As a mission driven organization, we are focused on creating a positive impact by connecting people in need to the programs that serve them with dignity and ease. Powered by our proprietary technology that enables people to find the resources available in their area, we have helped millions of Seekers find food, health, housing and employment programs.
Our pioneering software platform has already connected thousands of people in need ("seekers") to thousands of programs to get the help they need – but because there’s so much more we want our product to do (and more people in need need us to do), it is rapidly advancing. Your job is to help new deployments of our rapidly developing product go off without a hitch. We’re looking for a seasoned Quality Engineer to help bring our automation testing and quality processes to maturity. You’ll have a wide mandate to identify quality problems and offer solutions in our development practices, testing strategies, approach to automation, and more. You’ll work closely with other team members to help grow their abilities as a mentor and by exemplifying good quality engineering.

- Co-own the quality of the product by being an exemplary tester and quality advocate
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and external stakeholders to advance holistic quality
- Enhance and maintain our automated regression testing suite
- Design and develop an automation approach for our growing set of APIs
- Mentor testers and developers in industry knowledge, best practices, automation skills, and other areas of expertise
- Engage with architects to ensure that testability is baked into our system and to create automated testing tools
- Design innovatory processes to create a quality culture throughout engineering
- Find and iterate on unique opportunities for quality improvement
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills
- Demonstrable track record of success in a dynamic environment
- Intensely curious, enterprising, and generous with knowledge
- Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Driven by a desire to be impactful and do good in the world
- 7-10 years of experience in automated testing, including API automation
- Success mentoring other testers in quality practices, especially automated testing
- Aptitude defining and refining diverse quality processes
- Experience in automated testing for non-functional requirements or data quality
$93,312 - $130,000 a year
