The Associate RFP Principal will be a vital member of the proposal response team within the Sales Department at findhelp. This role requires exceptional project and people management experience, along with extensive experience in writing RFPs, managing tight deadlines, and working independently. The Associate RFP Principal will be responsible for preparing proposals for both the public and private sector, incorporating strategic approaches to effectively meet RFP objectives. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Act as a liaison with internal and external teams to collaborate on RFP responses.  
    • Write and proof standard sections of the proposal, track completion of proposal sections, and prepare all needed communication and documents for proposal submission.
    • Support leadership in editing responses to ensure messaging is accurate, updated, and strategically aligned. 
    • Complete and answer proposal questions ensuring accurate content and standard formatting, while meeting internal and external deadlines
    • Lead refining of  “Content Library” for use by our RFP Team and other findhelp teams
    • Assist Sales with non-RFP questionnaires and prospect proposals, as needed
    • Monitor RFP opportunities, as needed
    • Ensure all proposal documents meet company standards and align with company objectives.
    • Identify areas for process improvement within the RFP response workflow and implement enhancements.

Qualifications:

    • Superior writing skills, including significant RFP writing experience, preferably with government proposal experience
    • 4+ years’ experience in B2B proposal writing and project management
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience with technology and able to learn new technologies quickly (ideally familiar with SaaS application support requirements)
    • Positive and service-oriented with a strong desire to make the world a better place for people in need
    • Superior project management skills
    • Self-starter who is comfortable working collaboratively and independently
    • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
    • Comfortable with change; as a fast-growing company, change is a constant
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
The compensation for this position will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
