We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Associate to join the Findhelp team. In this role, you will be integral to our financial operations, performing a variety of key responsibilities on both the accounting and finance side of the business. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast paced high growth company and play a key role in supporting and helping to drive the business. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to collaborate across departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with duties expanding as you gain proficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Billing & Revenue Operations:
- Manage all aspects of billing and contract tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and customer inquiries.
- Oversee collections and facilitate vendor onboarding with customers.
- CRM Administration:
- Work with our Sales and Revenue Operations teams to maintain the integrity of HubSpot, ensuring accuracy of contract and financial information.
- Credit Card Program Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely coding of credit card transactions.
- Assist with the addition of new participants and the removal of departing individuals from the program.
- Tax Compliance:
- Maintain relationships with state and local tax agencies.
- Ensure timely filing of state and local tax returns.
- Provide ad-hoc support for quarterly and annual payroll and excise tax filings.
- Audit Support:
- Assist in compiling all necessary documentation for banking, tax, and financial statement audits.
- Annual Plan:
- Assist in the design and preparation of department templates for annual planning.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to drive strategic directives.
- Work with other internal teams to help drive alignment to corporate goals and objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Finance or Accounting concentration preferred, with at least 1 to 3 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with working knowledge of G Suite
$76,000 - $95,000 a year
The salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Findhelp. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
