As a Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist, you’ll be applying your proven skills as an instructional designer and L&D content creator to support the job skill development of all Helplings. This role will assist in developing content for customers as well. You’ll work with subject matter experts (SMEs) from across the company to support a variety of learning needs; from assisting in learning needs assessments, to developing eLearning and other deliverables.

The role:

    • Design and develop content to support the ongoing development of internal job skills, as well as internal/external product knowledge; content types including instructor-led training, videos, interactive eLearning, quick reference guides, etc.
    • In collaboration with the Learning & Development Manager, support and help implement a strategic vision for education across the company. 
    • Partners with HR and other teams to develop and execute on  manager and leadership development curriculum, as well as supporting mentoring opportunities
    • Assist in the tracking of metrics to support training goals and objectives.
    • Facilitate instructor-led training at times, virtually and in person.

What You’ll Do:

Who You Are:

    • L&D professional skilled in instructional design principles and aware of current trends.
    • Experienced in developing content using different eLearning tools (Adobe Captivate preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience with designing and developing various types of L&D solutions for an organization.
    • Have a deep  understanding of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.). 

Experience You’ll Bring:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent 2+ years’ experience working in Learning and Development professional
    • Well-versed in the use of at least one eLearning tool for the  development of content; Adobe Captivate preferred.
    • Experience with adult learning techniques and best practices; specific experience in product, leadership, and sales  training experience a plus.
    • Ability to project manage and work across multiple projects simultaneously and at a high level.
