Customer Engineering – Technical Support
As a member of the Technical Support Team, you are the front line and the face of Finix Payments. You will interact daily with customers and help simplify the world of payments for them while improving the product every step of the way. You will be collaborating closely with our implementation teams, Business Development teams, and customers in order to help meet their needs and ensure satisfaction with our platform.

Being a Technical Support Engineer will require you to learn our product very quickly and be creative in problem-solving.


    • Working closely with our Business Development Teams, Implementations teams, and Support
    • Reviewing Zendesk ticket queue
    • Responding to customer’s inquiries
    • Troubleshooting and debugging technical customer issues and documenting solutions
    • Interacting directly with customers to understand their issues
    • Devising creative solutions and working cross-functionally to implement them
    • Collaborating with customers to come up with new features/enhancements
    • Advocating for your customers when prioritizing Product roadmaps
    • Learn and deeply understand the greater payment ecosystem

About You

    • Strong written communication skills
    • Thrive in a fast pace environment that is highly collaborative
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
    • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar experience ( e.g. coding bootcamp graduates) 
    • Minimum 2 years of technical support, system implementation/administration experience or equal ambition and drive 
    • Experience working with RESTful JSON APIs, Curl commands, SQL, scripting languages and debugging
    • You can explain to your grandmother how to construct an API request without breaking a sweat or getting frustrated

Nice to Haves

    • Previous experience working for SaaS companies
    • Python, Ruby, JS experience
    • Spanish fluency
