Your Role 
As an Asset Accounting Specialist, you are a member of our Finance & Legal department. You will support the Accounting  team assuming responsibility for diverse transactional tasks linked to our ERP system SAP S/4HANA. Besides ensuring highest data quality in our subsystems you will also drive further automation for our Asset Accounting processes.

Your Responsibilities

    • You take care of monthly closing tasks in Asset Accounting in SAP (e.g. Capitalization, Transfer from Fixed Assets to Inventory, Disposal, Depreciation).
    • You ensure data quality in our subsystems and maintain efficient processes in our daily operations. You achieve that by introducing regular checks and initiating procedural improvements.
    • You understand with time how Asset Accounting impacts our Balance Sheet as well as the P&L and proactively share additional information with our Strategic Finance Team to ensure a smooth Reporting process.

Your Profile

    • Strong technical understanding and process-oriented thinking.
    • Bachelor’s degree or vocational training in business or economics including Accounting knowledge on HGB, IFRS or German tax code.
    • First experience with operational Accounting tasks in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
    • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
    • Interest in identifying potential problems and solving them.
    • Fluent in German or English.
