Summary
We are excited to grow our team and are looking for a Director, Marketing Communication to develop and execute the company’s overall marketing communication strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role oversees all internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and alignment of the company’s objectives and brand values. You’re strategic and hands-on and thrive working cross-functionally to deliver high-impact integrated marketing campaigns.

What you’ll be doing

    • 1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies that align with business goals and growth objectives 
    • Create, manage, and measure marketing communications priorities, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and initiatives

    • 2. Content Creation and Thought Leadership:
    • Lead the creation of high-quality content for various channels, including websites, social media, social selling, email marketing, print materials, and more
    • Collaborate with internal technical and business stakeholders to produce compelling and engaging content such as use cases and thought leadership that resonates with target audiences 
    • Work closely with business teams on non-linear growth initiatives across customer and partner marketing channels

    • 3. Brand Management:
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity, including messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice
    • Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with the brand guidelines

    • 4. Partner Marketing
    • Engage with new and existing partners and run scalable co-marketing initiatives
    • Develop unique campaigns to generate value for both for Firework and our partners

    • 5. Customer Marketing
    • Apply best-in-class techniques to convert our customers into champions 
    • Enhance our Customer Journey Run ongoing communications including but not limited to customer newsletters

    • 6. Public Relations:
    • Manage the company's public relations efforts, including press releases and media relations
    • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 10 years of experience in marketing communications in the growth-stage B2B SaaS industry for both mid-market and enterprise 
    • Outstanding hands-on visionary with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams to deliver successful marketing communication strategies
    • Expert on effective marketing communication channels, tools, and hacks
    • Proven thought leadership experience
    • Previous experience on running successful partner marketing and customer marketing initiatives
    • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the creative intuition to think outside the box to translate complex datasets to drive actionable insights
    • Stellar communication skills with a high emotional intelligence (written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills)
    • Start-up and team-first mentality

    • Preferred  Experience/Skills 
    • Journalism or Communications background
    • Previous experience with social selling
    • Experience in video commerce Master’s degree
As a hybrid office-centric company, we are looking for candidates in the Bay Area. Candidates outside the location are encouraged to apply though must be willing to relocate. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated pay range for this role is USD $140-$160K. Other factors that impact compensation include stock options. 

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
