Summary
We are excited to grow our team and are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to strategize, lead, and execute on our ambitious growth goals. You have a deep understanding of the market and will have the opportunity to elevate our Product Marketing function by working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to implement and transform complex product stories into effective, meaningful, and differentiated positioning that drive adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing

    • Strategize, build, and execute comprehensive linear and non-linear product marketing strategies to support sales enablement efforts and drive customer acquisition, continuous engagement, and retention of Firework’s innovative product suite 
    • Define product positioning and story narratives to drive sales enablement, training, and sales programs
    • Partner with Client Leadership to drive customer retention and upsell/cross sell
    • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Design, and key business partners to ensure successful product launches through succinct and effective GTM positioning and messaging based on customer insights
    • Conduct and lead competitive intelligence, research, and analysis of customer feedback to drive and inform the value proposition development of new products and features
    • Partner with other marketing and business functions to craft high-quality compelling and relatable marketing stories, whitepapers, ebooks, use cases, videos, and thought leadership 
    • Develop key performance indicators; track, measure, and analyze product marketing performance and derive actionable recommendations for optimization

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 10 years of experience in product marketing ideally in the growth-stage B2B SaaS industry for both mid-market and enterprise 
    • Outstanding hands-on visionary; able to lead cross-functional teams with clear vision, prioritization, and results
    • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the creative intuition to think outside the box to translate complex datasets to drive actionable insights
    • Track record of building and leading GTM initiatives for innovative products
    • Stellar communication skills with a high emotional intelligence (written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills)
    • Start-up and team-first mentality

    • Preferred  Experience/Skills 
    • Experience in video commerce 
    • Experience with ARR > $40M
    • Master’s degree
As a hybrid office-centric company, we are looking for candidates in/near San Mateo. Candidates outside the location are encouraged to apply though must be willing to relocate.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000-$175,000. Other factors that may impact compensation include stock options. The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity. Candidates may receive more information from the talent partner.
