First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a Branch Manager responsible for contributing to the Credit Union’s key results by displaying personal accountability through impacting expense control, positively affecting profitability, influencing business growth, and exceeding member satisfaction expectations.
 
The Branch Manager is responsible for successful branch oversight, service expectations, growth, and goal achievement. This person will direct, coordinate, and lead the activities of staff, resulting in efficient and effective quality service, new business, and operation of the branch. The ideal candidate will also lead and manage effective staff functions, including motivating, hiring, coaching, training, counseling, and terminating. Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are performed within the scope of responsibilities and accountabilities.
 
This position is a full-time onsite opportunity and will report to the Director, Specialty Sales and is based in Culver City, CA. The minimum and maximum salary range for this position is $81,884.59 and $122,826.68 in California. The target starting salary is between $81,884.59 and $102,355.74.
 
Responsibilities

·         Lead, guide, and motivate staff for achievement of branch and individual goals. Ensure the branch and staff achieve stated goals on a monthly basis and provide feedback when necessary.
·         Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, and within legal and regulatory requirements.
·         Lead, supervise, and train staff, including new teammates, ensuring knowledge and skill level are appropriate to job duties and functions, particularly with regard to quality service expectations and standards, and with cross-selling products and services.
·         Actively follow up on new and pending accounts and applications processed to ensure cross-sell opportunities have been identified and maximized.
·         Lead efforts in branch business development to increase sales and production to maximize branch growth.
·         Promptly and accurately complete required reports and records, such as timesheet recordings and approvals, manager’s report, branch balancing, logs, manual report tracking, and report review or monitoring.
·         Identify areas for opportunities and make recommendations to improve branch operations and productivity to increase effectiveness, and efficiency, and to assist in meeting goals.
·         Within the scope of authority and privileges, provide approval and override support to staff and offer backup support to teammates as needed.
·         Manage the employee life cycle activities such as hiring, termination, performance reviews, coaching, development and so forth.
·         Ensure adequate controls are maintained where appropriate, such as dual controls for operation tasks. Dual control can be associated with card issuance systems, branch opening, branch closing, cash counts, cash, and negotiable instrument controls and processing.
·         Oversee and make sure to ensure monthly and annual Member Satisfaction Scores are met.
·         Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements
 
·       High school graduate, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
·       Six (6) or more years work related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field. Prefer at least 4 years prior manager experience. Proven success at goal achievement, leadership skills, and applied experience.
·       Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and business development skills
·       Stellar communication skills both verbally and written.
·       Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
·       In-depth knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.
·       Ability and flexibility to work outside standard branch hours as needed.
·       Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Symitar for Windows (Episys).
·       Notary Public certification required.
·       Registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) required.
