Personal Assistant

Bainbridge Island, Washington /

/ On-site
First Round is reinventing venture capital. We connect entrepreneurs with the knowledge, people and companies they need for maximum impact. Square, Uber, Roblox, and Warby Parker are some of the companies we’ve been fortunate to partner with — and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support one of our Partners, Bill Trenchard.

Your core role as a Personal Assistant will include:

Operations Support

    • Booking appointments and making reservations
    • Managing the purchase and delivery of various items for the executive's personal and business needs
    • Managing grocery and item inventory in the executive's home
    • Running miscellaneous personal and business errands
    • Planning events, happy hours, and dinners
    • Creating a gifting system to keep track of important people and dates and managing gifting as needed

Travel Support

    • Planning and booking flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements, including creating itineraries
    • Driving the executive to various locations as needed
    • Traveling with the executive as needed and providing organizational support
    • Packing and unpacking the executive for short-term and long-term trips

You could be a great Personal Assistant at First Round if:

    • You are detail-oriented. You triple-check your work and notice when the smallest details don’t match.
    • You are an execution machine. When you're tasked with something, it's done with the utmost thought and care. You feel a sense of accomplishment after seeing a project come to fruition and can't wait to take on the next task with the same level of energy.
    • You are organized. You have a knack for details and never drop a ball.
This role will include ~25% travel, primarily to NYC and SF. When not traveling, the PA should expect to work in-office on Bainbridge Island 4 days/week. This isn’t your standard 9-5 job. We work hard, and sometimes that includes long, nontraditional hours. You'll be expected to put out fires on nights and weekends.

The pay range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 and will be determined by a candidate's experience level. Our talent team is happy to share more details about our total compensation and benefits package.
